Overall it was a fantastic stay on our road trip. The location was great and awesome because it was near to Blenheim in the very near future, the airport too, and a lovely winery. Also, the hotel was placed 4 km from touristic place like Hans Herzog Cellar Door.

It was just terrific! We liked the fact that (staying with our friends as well) we had lots of room to move around and relax as well. The whole set up was very attractive with a lovely outlook on to vineyards and the mountains. We found it very comfortable and really appreciated the washing machine and dryer! Thank you.

The villa we scored was massive and had hella space for all our homies. We chilled in the dope garden overlooking the vineyard and mountains - straight up relaxing vibes. The kitchen was fully stocked and we even barbecued on the outdoor patio. Plus, being close to mad wineries and having a tennis court with free gear was next level.
Only thing that would've made it even more dope would be if there was a sick party spot with a DJ and a dance floor. We had to find our own turn-up spots around town, but it would've been legit to have one on-site.

We like staying in the vineyards. The downfall for the area is that we had only one choice for dinner without going into Blenheim. The retreat was well appointed but the rooms are a little sparse. We stayed 6 years ago and the rooms had more character. It is lovely and quiet.

The Retreat was everything we expected, luxurious, spacious, with all the facilities on hand. It was that gorgeous that we preferred to stay in and enjoy the accommodation, view and fantastic amenities. The manager was on call and most helpful if needed but not intrusive or overbearing - left us to do our own thing!
